§025.1 Definitions

§025.2 Sentences
- Unlicensed possession → ≥5 years + firearm seized/destroyed
- Possession to commit a crime → ≥25 years
- Using firearm in a crime causing death → ≥25 years, possible execution
- Trafficking firearms → life imprisonment

§025.2.1 Modifiers: Repeat offenses → doubled sentences; Minors involved → additional charges.

Definitions

• Firearm: Any device designed to discharge projectiles by means of explosive force, including pistols, rifles, shotguns, and modified weapons.
• Illegal Possession: Owning or carrying a firearm without proper licensing from the Ministry of Defense (MOD).
• Unlicensed Firearm: A firearm that has not been registered with the MOD armoury and assigned to an approved owner.
• Licensed Firearm: A firearm that has undergone background checks, safety training, and registration for lawful use.

Penalties

• Unlicensed possession: Minimum 5 years imprisonment, firearm confiscation and destruction.
• Possession with criminal intent: Minimum 25 years imprisonment.
• Use in crime causing death: Minimum 25 years, up to execution under Murder Act provisions.
• Firearm trafficking: Life imprisonment without parole.
• Administrative violations (e.g., expired license): Fines and license suspension.

Implementation

The act will require all existing firearms to be registered within 6 months of passage. The Ministry of Defense will establish licensing procedures, including background checks and training requirements. Enforcement will be coordinated with local law enforcement.
